The Last U.S. Hunger Data: What We Lose with the Termination of the USDA’s Household Food Security in the United States Report

The USDA’s latest Household Food Security in the United States report shows that food insecurity rose for a third consecutive year, with 13.7 percent of households food insecure in 2024. The USDA plans to terminate the report after 30 years of consistent, national assessments.
