Hideki Uno

Hideki Tomoshige is a fellow for Renewing American Innovation (RAI) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he supports research on U.S. science and technology policy, regional innovation hubs, export controls, and other economic security policies. He has written extensively on strategic investment policy for the semiconductor industry in the United States and the legislative process relative to Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) reform. Prior to joining RAI, he conducted research on economic security policy and cybersecurity policy for a member of parliament in Japan’s Diet. Hideki earned his MA in American foreign policy and international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and his BA in law from Keio University.
