Industry-Government Collaboration
Engaging in dialogue with government officials and industry partners as well as through focused research, CIB explores this critical partnership and its effect on important national security topics
Aimed at reinvigorating collaboration between government and industry, CIB has launched a series of reports, events, and research efforts. Ongoing shifts in the way government conducts business affect both agencies and companies that service them.
CIB’s work explores how incentive structures can be reshaped to attract greater private equity, venture capital, and traditional investment into national security sectors. It examines ways to leverage private investment to strengthen supply chains and accelerate technology transition, while also evaluating how mergers and acquisitions affect competition and innovation across the defense ecosystem.
